As a native New Yorker, I have always been one step ahead in fashion, and was always giving advice on the latest trends in hair and makeup. As a young child I was exhibiting my entrepreneurial spirit, making perfume in my mothers’ kitchen or watching my father create a line of cosmetics for his salon. 

I continued pursuing my goals and worked after school as an assistant learning the daily operations of the salon business, and later began using my skills as a stylist. I was employed as a senior stylist and colorist at the prestigious Saks Fifth Avenue Salon & Spa in Garden City, N.Y. After my second child was born I opened my own boutique style salon where I serviced clients for many years.

After twenty eight years of styling hair and watching the beauty industry evolve in a new and exciting direction, I realized a nitch to be filled and opened joule salon in Cary, North Carolina in 2004. joule is a certified makeover center, where I help women gain self confidence in their personal appearance and in their life. My goal is to help each client be the best they can be.

I continue to train at the L’Oreal Soho Academy, N.Y. where I have studied with celebrity stylists. I believe its continual education that keeps our minds open to new ideas and in return helps me better serve my clients. joule has been featured as a life time member in New Beauty Magazine as a Five Star Beauty Destination. joule salon was nominated and chosen as the official stylists of the 2004 Governors Inaugural Ball.
