It was my love of hair, makeup and fashion, which lead me on this intriguing path to create joule salon. As a Certified Image and Hair Stylist for twenty eight years, I have been interested in styling hair since I was a child. I knew this would be my path, considering the fact my entire immediate family is in the beauty industry.
They say you have to go back into your childhood to find out what you were passionate about.

As a native New Yorker, I have always been one step ahead in fashion, and was always giving advice on the latest trends in hair and makeup. As a young child I was exhibiting my entrepreneurial spirit, making perfume in my mothers’ kitchen or watching my father create a line of cosmetics for his salon.
I continued pursuing my goals and worked after school as an assistant learning the daily operations of the salon business, and later began using my skills as a stylist. I was employed as a senior stylist and colorist at the prestigious Saks Fifth Avenue Salon & Spa in Garden City, N.Y. After my second child was born I opened my own boutique style salon where I serviced clients for many years.
After twenty eight years of styling hair and watching the beauty industry evolve in a new and exciting direction, I realized a nitch to be filled and opened joule salon in Cary, North Carolina in 2004. At joule salon our mission is to help women gain self confidence in their personal appearance and in their life. My goal is to help each client be the best they can be.
I continue to train at the L’Oreal Soho Academy, N.Y. where I have studied with celebrity stylists. I believe its continual education that keeps our minds open to new ideas and in return helps me better serve my clients. joule has been featured as a life time member in New Beauty Magazine as a Five Star Beauty Destination. joule salon was nominated and chosen as the official stylists of the 2004 Governors Inaugural Ball.
